Dr.Malpani complaints are unfounded.

Mother from Nashville states Dr. Malpani complaints are unfounded

Rosa and her husband Gary finally conceived their own baby after IVF treatment at the renowned Malpani Infertility Clinic in India. Their personal story dispels any complaints about Dr. Malpani scams, and Dr. Malpani poor service. Rosa tells us about her journey through three failed IVF cycles, then adoption and ultimately her pregnancy after treatment at the Malpani Clinic in Mumbai.

I am Rosa from Nashville Tennessee. My husband Gary and I had been trying for a year to have a baby. At some point Gary had a semen analysis done which came back with normal results. Then our doctors advised us to keep trying for another six months, and if still unsuccessful, have a fertility checkup.

During the following years, we went through three IVF fertility treatment cycles. The first one was canceled because of poor ovarian reserve, the second resulted in pregnancy followed by a miscarriage and the third had a negative result. We knew that this was our final attempt because the doctors would not allow us to continue treatment with my eggs.

After careful deliberation we eventually decided to pursue adoption, which resulted in us now having two beautiful children, both from India! As we have always wanted to have a house full of children and I wanted to experience pregnancy, we decided to investigate IVF with donor egg/embryo. Unfortunately we were unsuccessful in finding a donor egg/embryo of Asian descent in the US.

But then I came across some articles about Dr. Malpani’s IVF Infertility Clinic via the Internet, and we decided to travel to India. When we met Dr. Aniruddha Malpani, we were pleasantly surprised at how reassuring and witty he was. His wife, Dr. AnjaliMalpani was very compassionate and empathetic. This team of professionals exuded such intelligence and confidence, and I never felt uncomfortable.

The procedure started with ultra sound scans, after which I was taken into Dr. Malpani's rooms where he explained my IVF cycle plan. On the day of the embryo transfer I was shown that we had a six healthy embryos and I could choose how many I wanted transferred back into my uterus.

During the time that the anesthesiologist was preparing me, I closed my eyes and said a quick prayer. I found Dr. Anjali was standing next to me, and she asked me if I was praying. She gave me a few words of assurance, and after that anesthesia was started, and she performed the transfer of the embryos.

After the procedure Dr. Malpani came to me and said that he felt confident that it all went well and that all embryos were safely placed into my uterus.

The Malpani doctors provided a phenomenally encouraging and positive environment during our IVF cycle at the Malpani Clinic. I have no idea where the Dr.Malpani cheater claims come from. I strongly advise any couple who struggles to become pregnant, to get in touch with Dr. Malpani in Mumbai.

Dr. Malpani express views on patients complaints: Your gynecologist may be a threat to your fertility

Some of the Dr. Malpani complaints that circulate on the internet are received from gynecologists. They even go as far as to refer to Dr. Malpani cheater. Often they are insufficiently qualified to make such statements, as gynecologists are not always well equipped to treat complicated infertility problems. A large number of them will do an adequate job, but they can, at times, turn out to be an impediment in a couple’s efforts  to conceive.
For women, in most cases, gynecologists are the primary care physicians. In the event a couple faces challenges in the case of fertility, most often it is the woman who seeks medical advice, her gynecologist being the first doctor she consults with.
But gynecologists often do not have any specific experience or training to deal with infertile women. Oftentimes they are unable to formulate an effective treatment protocol, resulting in the fact that they often end up providing treatment on an ad hoc basis, causing the patient to waste precious time and money.
Additionally, most gynecologists are not really capable to deal with male infertility challenges. These men are often referred to andrologists who offer disjointed treatment and care, resulting in the couple receiving compromised treatment.
Additionally, a large number of gynecologists lack the expertise to take care of older women with infertility problems. Their main area of focus is that of delivering babies, and therefore they often do not take in consideration the damaging effect the passage of time can have on a woman’s ovarian reserve. As a result, gynecologists often provide ineffective treatment options such as clomid for ovulation induction, which results in these older women losing valuable time.
Since gynecologists prefer to retain control over their patients, they are often rather disinclined to refer patients to infertility specialists for IVF treatment. Many of them will recommend the removal of small endometriotic cysts or fibroids. These surgical procedures do however not improve the chances of the patient to conceive. In fact the chances of these women falling pregnant are  adversely affected by these types of surgery, as they result in the formation of scar tissue and adhesions which reduces ovarian reserve.
Some older gynecologists still make use of outdated or obsolete procedures such as hydrotubation for the re-opening of blocked tubes. All these treatments and surgeries can cause the patient to lose confidence in doctors because they do not address her infertility problem effectively . These women often give up infertility treatment all together, since they have lost a lot of precious time and money.
Gynecologists often also lack a holistic perspective and expertise when dealing with infertile couples. Their studies usually do not include information about  handling infertile men with low sperm counts.

Eventually, the couple either gives up altogether, or they will seek treatment from an IVF specialist. The loss of precious time, however, is irretrievable, and often results in older women missing their shotat falling pregnant.

What is IVF

DR MALPANI

                                                              Oocyte with surrounding granulosa cells

In vitro
 fertilization
(IVF) is a process by which an egg is

fertilized by sperm outside the body: in vitro. IVF is a major treatment for infertility when other methods of assisted reproductive technology have failed. The process involves monitoring a woman's ovulatory process, removing ovum or ova(egg or eggs) from the woman's ovaries and letting sperm fertilise them in a fluid medium in a laboratory. When a woman's natural cycle is monitored to collect a naturally selected ovum (egg) for fertilisation, it is known as natural cycle IVF. The fertilised egg (zygote) is then transferred to the patient'suterus with the intention of establishing a successful pregnancy. The first successful birth of a "test tube baby", Louise Brown, occurred in 1978. Louise Brown was born as a result of natural cycle IVF. Robert G. Edwards, the physiologist who developed the treatment, was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2010.

As Dr Malpani is without complaint

The term in vitro, from the Latin meaning in glass, is used, because early biological experiments involving cultivation of tissues outside the living organism from which they came, were carried out in glass containers such as beakers, test tubes, or petri dishes. Today, the term in vitro is used to refer to any biological procedure that is performed outside the organism it would normally be occurring in, to distinguish it from an in vivo procedure, where the tissue remains inside the living organism within which it is normally found. A colloquial term for babies conceived as the result of IVF, "test tube babies", refers to the tube-shaped containers of glass or plastic resin, called test tubes, that are commonly used in chemistry labs and biology labs. However, in vitro fertilisation is usually performed in the shallower containers called Petri dishes. One IVF method, Autologous Endometrial Coculture, is actually performed on organic material, but is still considered in vitro.
